After the hit song, America, Denmark, and Prussia went to just about every thrift shop in their countries.
Nations can give up being a nation anytime. However, the process really isn’t easy as they have to die first (if the nation isn’t dissolved), which is why this almost never happens.
Dissolution makes this easier since the nation is given a choice to either continue existing or just fade away and be reborn as a human (which is painless).
Since Prussia didn’t give up his position after dissolving, he has to die if he ever wanted to give up his being a nation.
